WARNING UPDATE. Flooding is expected in Boat O'Brig to Spey Viaduct. Act now.
Water levels on the River Spey are high due to heavy rain affecting the catchment since Sunday. River levels are expected to remain high throughout Wednesday and into Thursday morning.Agricultural land is at risk of flooding along the Spey Valley from Rothes to the Spey Viaduct. Flood water through the viaduct and in the Black Burn may put low lying properties in Garmouth at risk of flooding.The river level at Boat o Brig has reached 1.72 m after it peaked at 2.1 m around 4 pm on Tuesday afternoon.
