River levels in the Bodmin area have started to fall following recent heavy rainfall and we are not expecting further high water levels or flooding today, Wednesday 16th December.
A flood alert remains in force for the River Camel at Dunmere where levels remain high but are expected to peak by mid-afternoon.
Further heavy rain is forecast Thursday evening into Friday morning, and with wet catchments, river levels may rise again with further surface water issues possible. We will monitor the situation and update as required.
