Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Orleton Millbrook Way river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property and farmland is possible this morning, 24/11/24. We expect flooding to affect properties around the Brooklets, Wyson & Brimfield. Flood water could be deep and fast flowing, and therefore pose a risk to life.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to rise further today
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and or Local Authorities and checking defences.
Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety.
This message will be updated by 4pm today 24/11/24, or as the situation changes.
