Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are starting to fall on the Bristol Frome at Chipping Sodbury but flooding is still a risk overnight.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Frome, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Vayre Close and Manor Way in Chipping Sodbury, properties closest to the river at Celestine Road in Yate and the Stover Bridge and Nibley area.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and checking rivers for blockages.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
