Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen on the Brook Dike due to heavy rainfall. Areas most at risk include Wath upon Dearne including Stacey Mill House on Mill Lane, West Street, Green Ings Lane and Station Road including the sports centre, works, depot, sewage works and garden centre. Further rainfall is forecast into this evening and overnight. Please put your flood plan into action and take care when near washlands and low-lying land, which will be flooded. Avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses, and do not drive through floodwater.
