Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising to a peak at the Childswickham river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible from 10am today, 23/09. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads around Childswickham Road in Broadway. Flood water may be spilling from both banks of Bunches Brook upstream of Leedons Holiday Park.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 8 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
