WARNING. Flooding is expected in Castlebay. Act now.
The prevailing weather forecast, along with very high tides means that flooding from the sea is expected during storm Ashley. Flooding is possible to low-lying land, roads and buildings along the coastline from Leideag through Castlebay to Kentangavel. Gale Forced Westerly winds also means that waves may cause wave and spray impacts. The highest risk is either side of the high tides, which at Castlebay are today Sunday at 21:00 BST.
