High tides this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 8:20PM to 12:20AM and tomorrow mornings tide Thursday 19th February between 8:30AM and 12:30PM
Areas most at risk include Christchurch Harbour and tidal stretches of the Lower Stour and Avon. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a forecast high water of 1.40mAODN at 10:20PM this evening with southerly force 4 winds. The second forecast high water is at 10:29AM on the 19th February 2026 with a level of 1.35mAODN with north westerly force 5 winds (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
