High water levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from 9:00AM on 23/1/26 for up to 24 hours due to high levels in the River Stour meeting high spring.
Areas most at risk include areas in close proximity to Christchurch Harbour including Mudeford, Stanpit, the Quomps and Wick area. the River level at the Throop station has triggered this Warning and the risk is higher during each of the next 3 high tides.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
