Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Lowdham Grange river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall and snowmelt. Consequently, flooding (of property) is imminent. Areas most at risk are Lowdham Main Street, and Station Road, including Merevale, and Limetree Gardens.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until 22:00 on 06/01/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
