This flood warning is being issued due to rising levels on the River Aire in Kildwick area following heavy rain over the previous 24 hours.
Cononley washlands are full and river levels at Kildwick are predicted to continue to slowly rise until late this evening, Wednesday 1st January. Levels should then start to fall overnight and through Thursday.
Areas most at risk include properties along Main Street, Haw Croft, Moorfoot Lane and Cononley Road.
Our incident rooms are open and we are continuing to monitor the situation closely.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one and activate any property flood protection products you may have.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
