Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from 21:00PM on 24/10/2026 to 01:00AM on 25/10/2026.
Flooding is possible due to high tides and strong winds from Storm Boelo. Areas most at risk include Allonby, Maryport, Flimby, Workington, Parton and Whitehaven areas.
We are closing flood gates at Maryport and Flimby.
Avoid seafronts and harbours due to wave overtopping and spray containing debris.
