Further flooding is possible overnight as river levels will remain high due to heavy rainfall. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected. River levels will continue to rise until 30/01/2025 particularly in the Hawley area. Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation and clearing debris from weed screens. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 9:00 AM on 29/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
