Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high as a result of heavy rainfall on 15 January 2026.
Flooding continues to be possible for low lying land, footpaths and roads near rivers, in particular around the Otford, Shoreham and Eynsford areas. River levels are also rising slowly in the Hawley area and may cause flooding to low lying land from this evening, 17 January 2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further messages as required.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
