Warning no longer in force

A period of intense rainfall overnight caused a rapid rise in the beck levels and the flood alert to remain throughout the day. Levels have since dropped and are expected to continue to do so throughout the evening of Sunday 24 November 2024 and overnight. Rivers will remain responsive to any further rainfall over the coming days.

Low spots on local roads are likely to be affected by surface water. Avoid driving through flood water. We will continue to monitor the situation closely over the coming days.
