Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels rose rapidly this morning as a result of heavy rainfall, however, flooding of property at this point does not seem likely. Areas most at risk are properties on Water Street. River levels are currently high but are peaking and we expect them to drop over the next few hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
