Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels are rising due to heavy rainfall that is forecast to continue overnight and into tomorrow, 01/01/2025.

Flooding is possible from now until tomorrow afternoon, 01/01/2025.

Areas most at risk include Earby, Broughton.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. We will issue flood warning where required.

Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded.

We will aim to update this message by 09:00 AM on 01/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
