WARNING. Flooding is expected in Ettrick Valley. Act now.
The Ettrick Water will rise rapidly until mid-afternoon on Tuesday and may exceed the flood warning threshold. There is a risk to low lying areas along the Ettrick Water including the B709, which is likely to be flooded in parts. The access to Thirlestane Gardens property may be cut off and there is a risk of flooding to Deephope and Hopehouse caravan parks. Please do not drive through floodwater For Information: Scottish Borders Councils nearest Sandbag store is a locked store at Philiphaugh Rugby Ground in Selkirk operated by the Flood Support Group. There is another sandbag store located at the Fire Station at Shawpark Crescent in Selkirk.
