Flooding expected. Take action now.
WARNING. Flooding is expected in Findhorn to Lossiemouth. Act now.
A combination of high tides, strong winds and storm surge means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads, and properties along Moray Firth from Findhorn to Lossiemouth. Flooding in and around the low lying parts of Lossiemouth include, the Marina, Marina Quay, Seatown Road and Seatown. The harbour at Burghead could be affected by coastal flooding. Wave overtopping is expected to affect low lying parts of Lossiemouth. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide at 14:00 GMT on Wednesday 4th February.
