This Flood Alert has been removed.
River levels have being falling steadily today, Monday 10/02/2020, following yesterday’s rainfall and we do not expect any further flooding. Today is forecast to be mostly dry, although it remains windy following Storm Ciara.
We have operatives on site at the location of the weir replacement at Mereway today. They are monitoring the water levels and managing flows along the Duke of Northumberland River as required. We continue to closely monitor rainfall and river levels and are responding to reports of blockages following the windy weather over the weekend.
