Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Packington river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Packington area including Mill Street and Brook Close. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by this afternoon, 06/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
