Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning.
Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 .
River levels at Whitwick downstream Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment
Areas most at risk are Farndale and Grace Dieu Road in Whitwick. Properties and roads in Whitwick and Thringstone are also at risk. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions .
