We are removing the Groundwater Flood Alert for Flamstead. The groundwater level in the borehole at River Hill has dropped since its peak on 28th February and is continuing to drop. In addition, no flooding or ponding has been observed in the Groundwater Flood Alert areas since minor ponding in Autumn 2024. No further flooding to fields and roads is expected due to low rainfall and declining groundwater levels. We will continue to monitor the River Hill borehole as usual but are not planning any additional monitoring measures.
