Flood alert

Groundwater levels are remaining low in this area but may be responsive to recent heavy rainfall . This message applies to areas of Newmarket at risk of groundwater flooding, including the High Street, and the A14 eastbound between junction 37 at Newmarket and junction 38 at Red Lodge.

Be ready to take action to protect your property. We are monitoring the situation closely. We will update this message by 11am Wednesday 29th May 2024, or as the situation changes.
