Groundwater flooding in the High Wycombe area

Message issued at 2:18pm, Tuesday 11th June 2024

Warning no longer in force

Groundwater levels are currently falling slowly at our Ray Farm and Piddington boreholes in the Wycombe area (including Radnage and the lower Hughenden Valley). We expect levels to continue declining as we move through the summer, however the catchment remains sensitive to rainfall due to wetter than normal ground and high water levels may be prolonged if we receive further rainfall.
