High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday.
Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 from 08:00, as a lot of rain (29mm) fell on Tuesday.
Flooding will affect gardens, roads, and low lying properties in Marsh Road. Rain is forecast to continue until 09:00 27/01/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Gurnard by 09:00 27/01/2026. Further flood risk is possible at the next high tide. Forecast at Cowes at 17:15 27/01/2026.
We are checking flood defences .
Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded . Including Marsh Road, Gurnard.
