Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Heavy rain has fallen across Harpers Brook catchment over the past few days. As a result river levels have risen and remain high, affecting the Brigstock to Sudborough area. We anticipate the levels to gradually reduce tomorrow (Friday, 25th December) and be able to remove this warning during the day. Stay safe, be and aware of your local surroundings. Avoid riverside paths and please stay away from river embankments and flood water. We are monitoring the situation, and have staff in the area checking flood defences, clearing blockages, and assisting the emergency services and council. This message will be updated again as the situation changes.
