Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 01 February 2026 from 20:00, as a lot of rain (29mm) fell on 01/02/2026.
Flooding could affect roads at Riders Lane and Purbrook Way as rising water levels in the Hermitage Stream restricts the Riders Lane Stream from draining into it effectively. At New Road, the river will be coming close to bankfull, with very deep, fast flowing water in the channel. Rain is forecast to continue until 22:00 01/02/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by 23:00 01/02/2026.
