Property flooding is expected.
River levels are high on the Hoe Stream at Woking as a result of Storm Dennis. Therefore, flooding of low lying properties, roads and farmland is possible overnight, especially in the Mayford area. Peak levels will be similar to the flooding in December 2019. Light showers are forecast this evening 17/02/2020 and into tomorrow 18/02/2020, and we expect river levels to remain high.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area checking defences. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated tomorrow morning 18/02/2020 or as the situation changes.
