Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High tide levels and large waves may lead to flooding tomorrow morning, Thursday 09/10/2025. Flooding of roads, low lying land, and exposed areas of the coast is possible. Flooding is possible between 08:00AM and 09:00AM tomorrow. Areas most at risk include the Humber estuary from Hessle Haven to Faxfleet.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths, and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. We are currently in a period of high tides so this alert may be re-issued if necessary.
