Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides and forecast weather conditions tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 05:30 to 09:30 on 28/10/2026. High astronomical tides and a large surge is expected. The wind direction is predominantly offshore, so the main risk is from higher than normal water levels. Locations most affected will be coastal roads, promenades and footpaths. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid coastal roads and low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Stay away from promenades where wave and spray overtopping is possible This message will be updated by 10:00AM on Wednesday 28 October or as the situation changes.
