River levels on the River Mole at Horley peaked yesterday lunchtime and are now falling steadily. The risk of flooding has now passed. The forecast is for further rainfall on Thursday 7th of December. The forecasted rainfall is not expected to cause any property flooding, however flooding of low lying land and land next to watercourses may be possible. We are monitoring the situation and will issue further Alerts and Warnings when necessary.
