Flood alert

River levels remain high on the Burstow Stream this evening, 22 January 2026.

Flooding of low lying land, roads and footpaths remains possible near to the Burstow Stream throughout the evening and overnight into Friday 23 January 2026, particularly around Bonehurst Bridge.

Weather conditions are forecast to remain unsettled over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
