Flooding expected. Take action now.
This Flood Warning has been issued due to the high tide forecast this morning, 09/04/2024.
Flooding of property is expected from 11:30 AM on 09/04/2024. Areas most at risk include Marine Point Leisure and Retail Park.
We do not currently anticipate the Flood Warning level to be met during the high tide in the early hours of 10/04/2024.
We are expecting higher than normal tides over the next 2 days and as a result we may issue further alerts or warnings.
Our incident rooms are on standby and we are closely monitoring the situation.
We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.
Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
This message will be updated by 4:00 PM on 09/04/2024, or as the situation changes.
