Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High tides on Saturday may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible 12:00 midday to 04:00 PM on Saturday 08/11/2025. 
Areas most at risk include low lying land, promenades and coastal footpaths. For those that need it, the forecast peak high water level is 3.46 m AOD at 02:00 PM.

Spring tides remain high but are expected to reduce gradually over the coming days. We do not currently expect there to be a risk of flooding from any subsequent high tides over the coming days. However, we will continue to monitor the forecast and update this Flood Alert message if necessary. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded . Please take care because large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. 
This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 08 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
