Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rising river levels this evening and overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from midnight tonight, 31/12/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Kearsley Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Kearsley Brook at Conisbrough.
Further flooding is possible overnight as river levels will rise rapidly due to heavy rainfall.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. We will issue flood warnings where required.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded.
We will aim to update this message by 09:00 AM on 01/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
