River levels are rising on Kettlewell Beck at Kettlewell due to heavy rain associated with Storm Jocelyn. Areas most at risk include properties on Middle Lane, The Green and Conistone Lane. River levels are rising rapidly. Further rainfall is expected today, Tuesday 23/01/2024. We are monitoring river levels closely. Put your flood plan into action. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 05:00am on Wednesday 24/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
