WARNING UPDATE. Flooding is expected in Kingussie to Kincraig. Act now.
Water levels on the River Spey remain very high and are continuing to rise through Tuesday. Rain continues to affect the area. Flooding is expected and the situation will continue to deteriorate into Tuesday afternoon. It is likely to be late in the evening on Hogmanay before there is any improvement. Flooding is expected along the Spey Valley from downstream of Kingussie to Kincraig. This will include agricultural land, low lying properties, access routes including the B9152 and B970, and the railway line.
