This warning has been issued as river levels are starting to rise in Knoll Beck following persistent rain over the weekend. With rain forecast to continue until the early hours of Monday 24th July 2023, levels are expected to remain high. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Knoll Beck, with low lying land expected to be most affected. There is a risk to residential properties around Manvers Way and Elsecar.
Please stay aware of your surroundings and do not put yourself at risk. Avoid using low lying footpaths and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
