Langstone to Emsworth Harbour

Warning no longer in force

Thursday afternoon's tide at 13:00 on 28/03/2024 came in as forecast at Portsmouth. Waves recorded at Hayling Island were above storm threshold, with average heights of 2.7m and some peak heights recorded at 5m. The unsettled weather which bought strong winds and elevated tide levels along the south coast will clear the area by the time of next high water. Over the next week, tide levels are significantly lower than today. We are not expecting further impacts as a result.
