Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides on Friday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible for 1 hour either side of Friday's early morning tide at 02:03 on 06/02/2026.
The weather increases tide table values by 0.5 m. The total forecast tide is 5.16 metres Chart Datum (2.43 mAOD) at Portsmouth. Light South Easterly Force 4 wind. Impacts will be relatively minor and confined to the immediate sea front. Water will be high at South Street and Queen Street, Emsworth. The Ship Inn car park, Langstone will flood. Water will flow into the road at Langstone High Street, but flood depths will be relatively shallow. Friday's tide at 14:06 06/02/2026 is forecast to be 12 cm lower (2.31 mAOD).
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Particularly if directly on the harbour front.
