Thursday's early morning tide at 01:45 on 11/04/2024 is higher than normal due to unsettled weather. The weather increases tide table values by 0.07m. The total forecast tide is 6.17 metres Chart Datum (3.12 mAOD) at Littlehampton, approximately 60cm lower than Monday evening. For 2 hours either side of high water, water will be high up slipways and could be forced up through drains causing flooding to roads, including Rope Walk. It is also possible that water could also flow over the fields and through ditches from Climping, and affect Ferry Road. Thursday's afternoon tide at 14:00 on 11/04/2024 is forecast to be 20cm lower (2.97 mAOD). Similar minor flood impacts are expected again Thursday afternoon. Minor flood impacts could continue until Saturday 13/04/2024. We continue to monitor the forecast. If you have it, please install flood protection 2 hours before high tide. We will reissue this Flood Warning if new property flooding is expected.
