WARNING. Flooding is expected in Lochybridge. Act now.
High tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected and may back up the River Lochy. Low lying land, roads and properties from Torcastle to Inverlochy are at risk of flooding from the River Lochy, including the areas around Camaghael, Lochyside and Kilmallie Road which are upstream of the Railway Bridge. The River Lochy flood gates will be closed, and properties downstream of the railway bridge will be protected. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide 19.45 Sunday 20th October.
