WARNING UPDATE. Flooding is expected in Longhope and Hoy. Act now.
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties in Hoy and Longhope. Conditions could become hazardous due to waves at the Ayre, as well as at other low lying roads including at North Ness, the Wyng and at Kirk Hope.Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide on Monday 21st at 00:15 BST and Monday 21st at 12:00 BST.
