Flood warning

River levels remain high in response to heavy rainfall from Storm Bert and overnight last night. Flooding is possible. Areas most at risk are Marina Court, the brewery on Havelock Street, St Pauls Square, Duckmill Lane, Longholme Boating Lake, Priory Marina, the hotel and girls school on Cardington Road and Castle Mill. If you have property level resilience, you are advised to install it now. There is no significant rainfall forecast over the next few days. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, Thursday 28 November 2024.
