River levels are high and rising in response to rainfall from Storm Darragh. Flooding of low-lying land is possible over the next few days as floodwater flows down the River Cam. Areas most at risk are around the River Cam from Stapleford to Waterbeach. The forecast is now dry which will allow levels to start falling later this week. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don’t put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and not expecting it to escalate. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, Tuesday 10th December 2024.
