Flood alert

High river levels today and overnight may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 28 and 29 January 2026. Areas most at risk are around the River Cam from Stapleford to Waterbeach. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 10:00am on 29 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
