Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels are rising on the Lower River Roding on Friday 15 January as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of roads and low lying land is expected
Further rainfall is forecast tomorrow Saturday 16 January; river levels are expected to remain high and flood warnings will be issued if needed.
We are closely monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages and clearing debris from structures.
Please monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
This message will be updated this evening, 15/01/21, or as the situation changes.
