Flood alert

High river levels over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 24 January 2026.
Over the last 12 hours we have seen heavy rainfall in the area.
Forecast levels may cause flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river from around 07:00am on Saturday. We expect the river to remain high throughout Saturday, overnight and into Sunday.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 24 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
