Rising river levels this afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the afternoon of 22 January 2026 .
Locations most affected will be low-lying land including agricultural land and local roads in the areas around Masham, Boroughbridge, Aldborough and Bishop Monkton.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
